The Hydraulic Technology Package is one of the Mechatronics Training Packages. Hydraulic technology plays an important role in today’s manufacturing processes, by creating substantial linear forces with relatively small and remote devices. The study and use of hydraulic technology is thus an important element in preparing student for success in industrial careers and making existing technical industry personnel aware of these technologies.The Hydraulic Technology Package enables them to grasp the fundamentals of hydraulically & electro-hydraulically controlled systems (Fluid Power Systems) commonly used in modern automated manufacturing environments through hands-on activities. This package challenges them to design and build hydraulic & electro-hydraulic circuits with actual components. The Hydraulic Technology Package uses the training panel along with a wide assortment of industrial grade pneumatic components. Unlike the fixed panel components in some other Hydraulic Technology Package, students/Industry personnel can easily mount and configure components on the hydraulic panel in order to create a variety of applications. They can connect different components, change physical parameters and observe system response. ATS Hydraulic Technology Package emphasizes real industrial concerns as it takes students/industrial personnel through two levels of study: LSM’s curriculum is a combination of text books and automation exercise giving the students/industry personnel, state-of-art industry relevant experience. |
